About Us – a few things about us.

A family business for 18 years

Mark & Angela Collins

Meet Mark and Angela Collins founders of Dreams 4 Africa. Mark and Angela are both lovers of the outdoors and are very adventurous having travelled a lot of Africa and South Africa, they are both experienced sailors and qualified Fagasa Guides, Mark is also qualified Fagasa Trails Guide.

Dreams 4 Africa was birthed in 2006 and originally started as luxury safari publication called Dreams 4 Africa – Safari Lodges & Safari in Africa. The Publication quickly grew in popularity amongst the travel industry and Mark and Angela saw a demand and gap in the market. More and more properties started asking for assistance in marketing and so the publication quickly grew into more of a product guide designed to be given to tour operators and agents and became a great marketing tool. Dreams 4 Africa grew from strength to strength every year quickly becoming a well known and reputable brand in the travel and marketing industry, bosting one of the biggest stands at Durban’s Indaba and WTM Cape Town, winning many stand awards during the years, we we also well know for our very successful workshops that we hosted in JHB, CPT and DBN every year and were always well attended.

Dreams 4 Africa as with most of the travel industry was severely affected by the covid 19 pandemic and has had to re grow and evolve with the forever changing landscape of the tourism industry.

After covid 19 Mark And Angela saw another need in the industry and armed with years of experience offered property recovery management services, essentially going into a lodge as the management couple and help get establishments back on their feet from covid. They have done this successfully for many years and have since retired and enjoying their sailing in Cape Town.

Dreams 4 Africa remains as a family business and has taken on much more of a digital marketing roll, but still traditionally working with inbound and out bound tour operators and agents. Our focus to make sure you are seen and remain relevant in this ever changing digital landscape and in the face of the tour operators and agents.

Welcome to Dreams 4 Africa, where our journey is fueled by a deep-rooted passion for transforming tourism marketing through innovative strategies. I’m Tania Collins, the Director of Dreams 4 Africa, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about myself and our mission.
My Journey in Tourism Marketing: With over 16 years of hands-on experience in the tourism industry, my journey has been one of constant learning and growth. From my early days working on the frontlines of hospitality to taking over Dreams 4 Africa, I’ve witnessed firsthand the evolving landscape of travel and hospitality marketing.
