The four-bedroom Lubbesrust eco-lodge exclusively
accommodates up to eight people and comes with its own staff –
a personal chef, housekeeping, and a professional guide, who will take care of
every detail of your stay.
During your stay you can enjoy game drives in the morning and
afternoon. It is also possible, weather permitted, to enjoy a day
drive with a packed lunch. If you do not feel like driving the
reserve, you can also decide to spend a couple of hours in one of
the hides near one of the waterholes to enjoy wildlife in its
natural behavior.
Lubbesrust is the perfect place to unwind from your normal hectic
life; enjoy the heated infinity pool overlooking the main
waterhole, read a book in the airconditioned lounge area or on
the sunbeds located in the shade, or enjoy a nap in your private
lodge/bedroom.
Every private lodge has a spacious deck with sunbeds and a
lookout deck with a view on a private or the main waterhole.
After your evening game drive you can enjoy a drink and the ‘bush
tv’ in the boma area or on the viewing deck. Make sure to go onto
one of the viewing deck to enjoy the most magnificent of night
skies.
Lubbesrust is ideal for a family or group of friends who want to
experience a slow safari; African wildlife and nature at their own
pace.
The main building
Thabana lodge is the place to start your day
and to gather for drinks, meals, and to enjoy
the cooldown of the (heated) infinity pool.
This spacious lodge (Breakfast bar, lounge area and dining area) also
gives you the opportunity to enjoy some ‘me
time’ on the first-floor balcony overlooking
the waterhole and a view on the hill.
The boma area next to the main building is
the perfect spot to gather after a game drive
and talk about the sightings you just enjoyed.
On a not too hot evening, you can decide to
have your dinner in the outside dining area.
