Shikwari Nature Reserve

The reserve offers two camps namely Shikwari Suites 4 Star TGCSA Graded & the rustic Pangolin Rondavels. Situated on the reserve close to Kruger Park & the Panorama Route.

The reserve is home to Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Nyala, Bush Buck, Duiker. Steenbok & Ostrich plus many birds.

This suite has a king-size bed dress in white percale sheets, guests may request two twin beds.

Turn-down service is offered for guests. This is a non-smoking room. There is a small patio with seating. Each room is thatched & separate from the other rooms, set in the natural bush environment & connected to the main lodge area by pathways.

The main lodge does not have rooms inside the building. Wi-Fi and Premium DSTV is available at the main area free of charge. 2 Children age 5 to 12 years welcome to share with parents and are accommodated fold-out beds. Wild Fig Suite

This suite has two rooms a main room with a queen-size bed & a small room off the main with single bunk beds for two children. All dressed in white percale linen. There is a private bathroom with double vanity, Victorian bath, toilet, indoor shower, and outdoor shower. Rooms are equipped with toiletries bathrobes, slippers, mini bar which is stocked on request & charged to guests accounts. A hospitality tray with homemade cookies, quality teas & freshly ground coffee with a French press is available.

Turn-down service is offered for guests. This is a non-smoking room. It has a patio with seating. This is closer to the main lodge separately connected to the owner’s house. The main lodge area does not have rooms inside the building. 2 Children age 5 to 12 years welcome to share with parents & are accommodated fold-out beds. Teens 13-18 will require their own room and may share with one other adult and/or two siblings under 13 years. There is no capacity in the room for more than 2 adults.

Knobthorn Suite

There is a turndown service with Homemade nougat. Two children may be accommodated on the daybed and truckle. White percale linen on the beds ensures a really good night’s sleep.

This large suite offers great comfort and has seating on a large veranda with views of the Skilderkrans Mountain. A Hospitality Tray is stocked with fresh ground coffee, a French press, quality teas, and homemade cookies. There is also a bar fridge that is stocked on request & automatically charged to the guests’ bar bill. Turndown service with chocolate.

2 Children age 5 to 12 years welcome to share with parents. Children are accommodated on the daybed which is also a great place to relax it also has a pull-out truckle bed. The large bathroom has a double vanity, Victorian Bath & outdoor shower and wardrobe. Teens 13-18 will require their own room or share with one other adult and/or 2 siblings under 13 years. There is no capacity for extra adults.

PANGOLIN RONDAVELS

A comfortable budget option camp approximately 500mtr from the main lodge. There are 4 traditional thatched rondavels and a pool. The camp consists of 2 rondavels with a “Bush Bathroom” – outdoor shower, covered toilet & basin plus 2 rondavels which share a separate bathroom & outdoor shower. Beds offer percale linen & towels are supplied.

All rooms have a wardrobe, seating, & hospitality trays with kettle, milk, coffee & teas, and ceiling fans. A boma is available for braais where guests need to bring their own braai tools, tableware & charcoal. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the main lodge.

The Breakfast is included in the Pangolin rate and there is a Half board option. All guests take meals booked at the main Shikwari Suites camp. Please note there is no capacity for more than 2 Adults in the rondavels
