At The Parsons House you are surrounded by a scenic panoramic view of the Balule Nature Reserve, feeling like you are one with nature from the comfort of a luxurious bushveld villa. The villa sleeps ten guests in 4 double bedrooms and an intimate and private chalet with a view of the wide expanse of Woodland Savanna.
You can join one of our Safaris on the Parsons Nature Reserve or head out on an external activity, you and your family or friends will feel quite at home at the Parson House – be that lounging poolside, eating meals around a large dinner table on the deck or enjoying memorable moments around the outdoor fireplace.
The Parsons House has three interior bedrooms, one external room with private entrance and an annexed chalet. Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, ample storage space, air conditioner and mosquito net to ensure you rest easy and comfortably.
The living area is quaint and a great place to gather with your friends and family during your down time. There is an open plan kitchen and a bar stocked with soft drinks, bottled water and a selection of local beers and wines. Our resident chef will have all your meals prepared inhouse for you, which are served in the dining area or on the deck depending on the weather.

The Parsons House includes the use of two parking bays at the front of the house, which is fenced off to keep the elephants out. Though the back of the house is the main focus – it includes an elevated fireplace, dining deck and a large swimming pool which all allow for stunning views and immersion in the surrounding landscape.

At Parsons, in the Balule Game Reserve, you can find the Big Five among many species of birdlife and an abundance of smaller wildlife.
Our guide, a qualified and knowledgeable wildlife expert, will take you on safari, on foot or by open game vehicle. As the number of lodges on our reserve is limited, we are able to
enjoy animal sightings privately, undisturbed by other spectators. We will take time to explain whatever you are interested in and stay longer at a sighting if you wish. We tailor each safari experience entirely to your interest!
